Checking an innovation’s suitability for the market
Identify and characterize a target market, define a business model, position an innovative product.
Defining the financing strategy
Diagnose a project or portfolio of innovative projects, map and target sources of funding at regional, national and European level, and draw up a multi-year roadmap.
Efficiently mobilize indirect aid
Prepare a JEI rescrit, apply for CIR or CII approval for the company or its suppliers, anticipate the hiring of young doctors or a CIFRE PhD student, analyze collaboration contracts with regard to CICO or LabCom schemes, etc.
Building a collaborative project and responding to a call for projects
Constitute a consortium, evaluate a pre-project, mature a concept, organize and manage the project set-up, write the proposal, build the budget, appraise and submit a response to a French or European call for projects (i-demo, ADEME, ANR, Bpifrance, Horizon Europe, Eurostars, etc.), identify alternative financing.
Accelerating and financing market access for innovation
Define a winning business plan, mobilize the ecosystem, align public and private financing strategies, respond to innovation competitions (i-Lab, i-Nov, EIC Accelerator, etc.).
Financing investment projects
Draw up financing dossiers for investment projects (France 2030, Innovation Fund, etc.), support the preparation of the budget and financing plan, and build the project and its milestones.

Team
Benkei’s customer assignments are managed and carried out by consultants with scientific or technical backgrounds (Masters, Engineer, Doctor of Science), some with over 25 years’ experience. Coming from a variety of backgrounds, some have worked in industry, services, or public and private research, often internationally, before joining Benkei. Many have additional skills or qualifications: management, marketing, communication, technology transfer.
Some team members are PMP® or PRINCE2 certified, and the whole team has a professional knowledge of project management.
Some of our consultants (list on request) are accredited by Bpifrance for the Diag Europe, Diag PTI and Diag Defense programs, and by INPI for the “Masterclass IP.
